Greysteel, a rapidly growing national commercial real estate firm dedicated to delivering tailored capital event solutions, is seeking a Transaction Manager to join our highest performing advisor teams. This role reports directly the Transaction Management Leader and plays a critical part in supporting the execution of commercial real estate investment sales and debt/equity placement transactions.
The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for driving operational excellence within a high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Management: Oversee and coordinate the advisor team’s pipeline of proposals and active transactions, with a focus on investment sales and financing. Experience with Affordable Housing transactions (including LIHTC and Section 8) is preferred.
Calendar Management: Track and manage critical dates, production milestones, and proposal/transaction deadlines to ensure timely execution.
Team Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between advisors, internal departments, and third-party stakeholders. Coordinate meetings, presentations, marketing timelines, property tours, and other transaction-related activities.
Marketing Collateral: Partner with advisors, research staff, and the design team to produce high-quality offering memoranda, proposals, and marketing materials.
Technical Support: Provide guidance on transaction processes, maintain internal databases and CRM systems, review documentation for accuracy, and support adoption of tools that improve workflow efficiency.
Compliance: Audit deal files to ensure completeness and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
Events & Conferences: Support planning and logistics for internal and external events, including industry conferences.
Leadership: Manage and mentor junior Transaction Coordinators to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy in all deliverables.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate transactions; experience with Affordable Housing product is a strong plus.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field preferred.
Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage projects independently while also collaborating across teams.
Experience with CRM systems, databases, and transaction tracking tools.
Leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to mentor and delegate effectively.
